  • Answer inbound telephone calls. Greet clients & guests enthusiastically, addressing their requests. Perform other administrative duties.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our Hunt Valley office. You will be the first face that our clients see in the office and the first voice they hear on the phone, so a friendly, helpful disposition is crucial as well as a dedication to delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience operating a multi-line phone system, scheduling meetings, greeting and directing visitors, and performing administrative tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and guests enthusiastically, addressing their requests or directing them to the proper destination quickly.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate parties when necessary. Place outbound phone calls as assigned.
  • Use our agency management system to access client account information to determine how to best assist clients and guests.
  • Process MVR requests and receive and distribute inbound faxes.
  • Perform other administrative duties within the HR department as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-2 years of receptionist or administrative assistant experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Applied Epic a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with insurance industry a plus
