  • BASIC FUNCTION:
  • Efficiently manage and direct renewal / service processes between Producer / Team and Client to maintain and nurture new and existing relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of account cycle timeline
    1.  Preparation of accounts both new and renewal
    2.  Coordinate and facilitate the renewal of small and large group clients
    3.  Attend/coordinate open enrollment meetings as needed
    4.  Prepare in-house enrollment materials for open enrollment
    5.  Complete post enrollment administrative work
  • Servicing liaison between producer/client/carrier
    1. Assist producers as needed by responding to service needs of clients
    2. Provide responses and problem resolution to clients regarding enrollment, ID cards, checking enrollment and answering coverage questions
    3. Educate enrollees regarding benefit plans, coverage, co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles
    4. Foster strong and lasting relationships with clients to assist in account retention.
    5. Prepare compliance documents
    6. Prepare benefit guides
    7. Complete Audits as needed
  • Access and Utilize Carrier and TPA Websites
  • Use of Agency Management System (EPIC) to manage client details, renew policies, maintain service history
  • Maintain familiarity with trends in the industry as well as new insurance products
  • Tuesday Morning Meeting attendance
  • Weekly Team Meeting Attendance
  • Helping others when needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

    1.  Ability to build and maintain relationships with client while delivering exceptional customer service
    2.  Active Life and Health license
    3.  Understanding of renewal process and servicing protocols
    4.  Intermediate/advanced proficiency level of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    5.  Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    6.  Organized/detail oriented/problem solver
    7.  Proficiency w/EPIC (preferred)
    8.  Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
    9.  3-5 years’ experience as a Benefits Account Manager
