  • Efficiently manage and direct new business/renewal/service processes between Producer/Team and Client to maintain and nurture new and existing relationships.


  • Management of account cycle timeline
    1. Marketing of accounts both new and renewal
    2. Carrier selection
    3. Negotiating with carriers/underwriters – pricing/additional coverages, etc.
    4. Final review of new business/renewal placement
    5. Ability to identify deficiencies
  • Direct and monitor Assistant Account Manager and/or CSR (if applicable)
    1. Expiration List management
    2. Policy check in/client delivery preparation
  • Servicing liaison between producer/client/carrier.
    1. Proposals
    2. Succeed
    3. Annual Plan Management
    4. Contract review
  • Resource Pro Procedures
    1. Familiarity with policy check-in
  • Support Producer in expanding book of business
  • Conduct Team meetings
  • Maintain familiarity with trends in the industry as well as new insurance products
  • Tuesday Morning Meeting attendance
  • Service and assist clients as necessary
  • Billing reconciliation



    1.  Ability to build and maintain relationships with client while delivering exceptional customer service
    2.  Active P&C license
    3.  Marketing and placement of CL new business and renewal accounts.
    4.  Intermediate/advanced proficiency level of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    5.  Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    6.  Organized/detail oriented/problem solver
    7.  Proficiency w/EPIC (preferred)
    8.  Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
    9.  CIC or CPCU designation (preferred)
    10.  3-5 years’ experience as a commercial lines account manager
